Media Hygiene Pricing Philosophy

However, we believe that this type of pricing model is not sustainable for our business. The complexity of developing software for nearly infinite combinations of themes, builders, and plugins, as well as the time and effort required to provide support, means that we cannot offer a significant discount for multiple sites without sacrificing the quality of our product and service.

At the moment, we do not offer site discount and we may consider this down the road. We believe that our pricing philosophy is fair and equitable, and that it allows us to provide our customers with the best possible product and service.

Additional Considerations

In addition to the factors mentioned above, we also consider the following when setting our prices:

• The cost of developing and maintaining our software: We invest heavily in research and development, as well as in customer support. These costs must be factored into our pricing in order to ensure that we are able to continue to provide our customers with a quality product and service.
• The value that we provide to our customers: Media Hygiene helps our customers to remove unused media from their WordPress websites that ultimately saves them on the cost of backups and improve their site performance.
• The sustainability of the business: We don’t want to be one of the free solutions that litter the WordPress repository. We want to be here for you to solve your problem year after year. However, you are more than welcome to go give those solutions a try.

How much is your time worth?

The cost of Media Hygiene Pro is $2/month, a price for one cup of coffee (in some parts of the world it’s more and less). If a person spends four hours per month manually removing images and their hourly wage is $15/hour. This means that Media Hygiene can save them $60/month, or $720/year of literally mind numbing work (that becomes less accurate with time) or alternatively would you rather spend that time sipping coffee with friends?

We believe that Media Hygiene is a valuable investment for any business that wants to protect its website and business from unnecessary and unused media files taking up storage space. Our pricing philosophy is fair and equitable.
